Unicode Training Programme for Staff of University Moratuwa

LK Domain Registry conducted training workshops:

• Installation of Sinhala/Tamil unicode.
• User training on how to prepare documents using Sinhala Unicode and search web in Sinhala.

 Workshop for administrative and non-academic staff was conducted on 11th August 2009 at Advanced Computer Laboratory in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

21 staff members from Dean's Office, Registrar's Office, Deputy Registrar's Office, CITES and following divisions; Supplies, General Administration, Internal Audit, Establishment, Finance, Examinations, Welfare and Capital Works participated.

On 8th September 2009, a repeat workshop conducted for the non-academic staff of the Faculty of Information Technology.  The worshop was condcuted in the IT faculty and 12 staff members participated.

Prior to the above workshops selected technical staff trained on Installation of Unicode.

All workshops were conducted by Mr DD Prabhath, Manager / Training of the LK Domain Registry.
